Dhrumil's Blog: Dhrumil - Meditation Mystification

Your post is an excellent reminder to perfectionists like me that there is no one perfect way to do anything, and that the simpler way to a goal is often the best way. I used to scold myself for not being able to meditate and eventually gave up, but the Falling Still exercises are perfect for me- I do it already, but without intention. Now I can put those moments to better use.

    Hi,
I have a question. Fallng still for 2 min at a time, how does it help me with my thoughts throughiut the day? I realize that for the time that I fall still, I have no thoughts, but what about after that? what happens?

I find your talks to be inspiring and excellent.

    God bless.

    Thanks
    A Iyer

Every time you fall still, you make a dent in your identification with
thoughts overall. So 2 minutes here and there makes many dents and soon the
    mind drops identification.
